ABOUT

Dan Croll, the musical maestro with a penchant for mixing genres like a mad scientist in a lab full of instruments. Born in the quaint town of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, on July 18, 1990, Dan’s musical journey began when he was handed a guitar instead of a teddy bear. His parents, in their infinite wisdom, decided that every child needs an instrument, and Dan got the memo loud and clear. Dan’s debut single, “From Nowhere,” was released in 2012, and it quickly became the talk of the town, or rather, the top of the Hype Machine charts. The song’s success was followed by “Compliment Your Soul” and “In/Out,” which solidified Dan’s position in the music scene.

In 2014, Dan released his debut album, “Sweet Disarray,” which, despite its name, was a well-received concoction of indie pop, folktronica, and a dash of Paul Simon-like melodies. The album peaked at number 26 on the UK Albums Chart, proving that Dan’s musical concoctions were a hit with the masses. Dan’s musical journey continued with the release of “Emerging Adulthood” in 2017, “Grand Plan” in 2020, and “Fools” in 2023, each showcasing his growth as an artist and his ability to weave intricate musical tapestries. When he’s not busy crafting musical masterpieces, Dan can be found pondering the mysteries of the universe, like why toast always lands butter-side down and why cats are so good at being aloof.
