She Wants Revenge is a Los Angeles duo formed in 2004 by vocalist and guitarist Justin Warfield and multi-instrumentalist Adam Bravin. Drawing on post-punk, darkwave and gothic rock, the pair developed a sound defined by spare synthesizers, driving bass lines, programmed rhythms and Warfield’s detached baritone delivery.

Their self-titled debut album, released in early 2006, became a commercial success, selling more than 300,000 copies in the United States. Lead single “Tear You Apart” reached No. 6 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart and remains their best-known track; further singles included “These Things” and “Out of Control.” The band subsequently released This Is Forever (2007) and Valleyheart (2011), along with the EPs Save Your Soul (2008) and Up and Down (2009). They toured with acts including Depeche Mode, Placebo and Peter Murphy, and performed at major festivals.

After a period of inactivity, She Wants Revenge have reunited for live performances and continue to present their catalogue alongside newer material. The current live configuration expands beyond the core duo, incorporating additional musicians on bass, guitar and drums while retaining the band’s characteristic atmosphere of romantic tension, nocturnal mood and controlled intensity.

Twenty years after their breakthrough, the group remains a reference point within dark electronic and post-punk scenes, with ongoing touring activity and a sustained international audience.
