Following on from their stellar debut Irish performance at this year’s Beyond The Pale festival, which left many of the audience in joyful tears, The Sabres Of Paradise have just announced their first ever Irish headline shows in Dublin, Belfast and Galway.
As well as their Dublin debut at the Button Factory they will also perform at
The Black Box, Belfast on Sat 30th and Róisín Dubh on Bank Holiday Sunday 31st of January.
Formed in London in 1992 by Andrew Weatherall, Jagz Kooner and Gary Burns, The Sabres of Paradise emerged as one of the most distinctive and influential electronic acts of the early 1990s
Blending deep dub, experimental techno, ambient atmospheres and elements of house, the trio released a series of critically acclaimed works on Warp Records, including the albums Sabresonic (1993) and Haunted Dancehall (1994).
Disbanding in 1995 and after Andrew Weatherall died in 2020, surviving members Kooner and Burns reunited in 2024 to honour Weatherall’s legacy, returning to the stage for the first time in three decades.
