Composer, producer and DJ Kormac announces show to coincide with the release of his first album since 2014 entitled Equivalent Exchange. Taking place in Dublin’s Button Factory on Saturday 19th November, the show will feature all the guests and co-writers on the album. Equivalent Exchange is released on 11th November and tickets for the Button Factory are on sale now.
I’m thrilled to reveal that ALL the album featured guests and co-writers – Jafaris, Loah, Jack O’ Rourke, MayKay, Shahab & Shayan Coohe (playing traditional Persian instruments Santoor and Tar) have moved mountains to be able to join us to perform on the night.
I’m especially delighted that the Irish Chamber Orchestra will be in with us for the whole show alongside my ever-present brass and rhythm sections to present the work in its entirety as intended .
I’m humbled and frankly, quite blown away, that all these amazing artists and friends have made themselves available to launch and celebrate this work. This means the world and promises to be an epic night. It will be the biggest show I have ever put together.
Tickets are on sale now priced at €20
Support will come from Kyoto Love Hotel an alt-pop duo made up of Joe Geaney and Laura Sheary. Hailing from Tipperary, the pair will bring their their thoughtful brand of pop music to the Button Factory.
