About
TVAM is British musician Joe Oxley from Manchester.
Described as post-internet, his work flits between the abrasive punk of Big Black and the drifting electronic ambience of Warp legends Boards Of Canada.
Listening to musical auteur Joe Oxley talk about his TVAM project is a wonderfully thrilling and illuminating experience. Ideas, concepts, themes, explanations… all are rapidly fired off; each view sparking another opinion, each assumption provoking a fresh thought.
TV PEOPLE
TV People are a duo that create their dark and gritty sound from a fusion of alt-rock and post-punk influences.
In pursuing their aim of challenging outdated stereotypes and normalising discussion of difficult topics, the band creates art that explores themes such as mental illness, addiction, grief and the pervading uncertainty facing many of their generation
