Daithí, an Irish multi-instrumentalist and producer, ventures into new territory with his upcoming solo shows, where synthesisers and his signature fiddle meet the infectious beats of Italo Disco and the glossy, nostalgic melodies of Japanese City Pop, alongside ’80s/’90s dance music elements. These performances will be fully improvised, embracing the spontaneity of live creation.

This year, Daithí headlined the mainstage at Beyond The Pale festival and played a standout set at Electric Picnic. He has also been performing extensively with his band, HousePlants, further establishing himself as a key figure in the contemporary Irish music scene.

Known for blending traditional Irish music with electronic elements, Daithí’s latest project taps into the vibrant energy of vintage dance floors while allowing each show to evolve organically. The result is a fresh, unpredictable fusion of past and present, delivering a live experience that is both immersive and dynamic.

ABOUT

Since the start of his career, Daithi has been known as an Irish fiddle player using electronics to boost traditional Irish music into something unique and different. Before even releasing a record, Daithí was supporting Santigold, The XX, Macklemore and DJ Shadow on Irish dates across the country. Synthesising his influences from UK garage, house and traditional Irish music, he presented a 10-track album In Flight in 2013. After receiving a lot of airplay, Daithi entered the Irish charts with his debut and Choice-nominated single “Chameleon Life” featuring the incredible Raye on singing duties. Daithi’s producing career was mentored by Ian Ring (Young Wonder, Talos) and he made his name as the ‘go-to’ man to remake songs for the dance floor for the likes of Fight Like Apes, All Tvvins and Original Rudeboys.
